FAQS

  • How do you select the best plants for your space?

We carefully select plants that will thrive in your environment, ensuring long-term growth and reducing overall maintenance costs. We consider factors such as:

Humidity: The moisture levels of your space help us select plants that will remain lush.

Micro-locations: Proximity to vents, doors, or atriums with temperature fluctuations can affect plant health. We place delicate plants in more stable areas.

Light exposure: Some plants need direct sunlight, while others prefer indirect light. We choose plants suited to your lighting conditions.

  • What does your plant maintenance service include, and how often do you visit?

Our maintenance service includes watering, trimming, and pruning your plants. Additional services such as site walks, installations, or design services are available upon request for an additional fee.
Maintenance frequency is based on the type of contract you select, with options for weekly or bi-weekly visits.

  • Can I choose specific flowers for the monthly blooming rotation, and do they vary seasonally?

You can choose between bromeliads or orchids for the monthly blooming rotation. If you have a specific flower in mind, we can check availability with our suppliers. Please note that prices may vary for non-standard flowers. During the summer, we may replace standard flowers with varieties better suited to hot weather.

  • What is the process and timeline for an exterior landscape design and installation?

The design and installation process varies depending on the scope of the project. For a complete redesign or new installation, the timeline is typically 4-8 weeks, depending on approval and product availability. For maintenance takeovers, the onboarding process usually takes about 2 weeks, though this may vary based on internal approval processes.

  • What are my options for holiday decor, and when should I schedule installation to ensure everything is ready in time?

Bring the holiday spirit to your space with our festive decor options. Choose from premium artificial options like trees, topiaries, wreaths, and garlands, or opt for living holiday decor such as fresh wreaths and seasonal plants.

To ensure timely installation, please confirm your selections by June 1. After this date, we cannot guarantee holiday offerings, and a rush fee will apply for late requests. Designs for the upcoming season are available for selection starting in April.

  • How is pricing structured for your services? Is it a one-time cost, or are there ongoing fees?

We have both one-time and recurring fees:

    One-time costs include:

    Design Fee

    Installation & Labor

    Planter, Plant & Moss Purchases

    Recurring costs include:

Monthly Maintenance Fee (based on the number of plants)

    Monthly Blooming Rotation Fee (optional)

Monthly Guarantee Fee (optional, for plant replacements)

  • How do indoor plants purify the air?

Indoor plants are natural air purifiers. Studies by NASA show that just 15-18 small plants for an 1800 sq. ft. area can filter out up to 87% of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) every 24 hours. These harmful toxins are commonly found in materials like carpet, vinyl, paints, and inks. Benzene, often present in study and office areas, can be significantly reduced with plants.

  • Can indoor plants improve health?

Yes, they can! A study by Kansas State University found that adding live plants to a space can lower heart rates and blood pressure. Surgical patients who had plants in their rooms requested less pain medication, reported lower fatigue, and experienced less anxiety. The study showed that just one large plant per 129 sq. ft. was enough to help patients recover faster and feel better.

  • Do plants help with humidity?

Yes, plants naturally balance humidity. According to a study by the Agriculture University of Norway, plants release 97% of the water they absorb as moisture vapor, creating ambient humidity. This helps maintain optimal humidity levels (around 50%), reducing issues like dry skin, sore throats, dry coughs, and even the common cold.
